Introduction
In 2013, I started my first webshop. Through trial and error, I built it entirely myself. It was a learning process in which I discovered more and more about WordPress, web design, and everything that comes with it. Over the years, I have regularly updated or completely revamped my webshop. This has not only given me a lot of practical experience, but also a broad knowledge of what works – and especially what doesn’t.
From 2017, I started to delve deeper into SEO. While it was relatively easy to be visible with a webshop in 2013, competition increased in the years that followed. Nowadays, in 2025, there are so many websites and webshops online that you won’t get far with a bit of DIY. Moreover, Google is constantly changing its algorithms, and you can only really become visible by responding to them smartly.
That’s why I believe that a good website should not only be beautiful, but also logically structured. Visitors should be able to find what they are looking for in a few clicks and feel invited to become customers. A website should be there to help you grow.
And honestly, I just really enjoy doing it. I regularly build a website or webshop purely to practice and learn new skills. This way, I continue to develop myself and can help my clients better and better.
